LOCATION
The “COMO” residence is located in Heisdorf, 13-15, route de Luxembourg. It will be located on a plot of land of ca. 12.83 ares.

Surroundings
Heisdorf belongs to the commune of Steinsel and is part of the canton of Luxembourg.
Heisdorf Castle is a former stately residence, which was built in 1888 in the French Renaissance style. In 1916, the religious congregation of the Sisters of the Christian Doctrine acquired the property to make it a convalescent home for their community. Today, the estate with its outbuildings is used as a retirement home for the sisters of the congregation and for the public.
The associated park was renovated after 1910, which left the old trees standing. Two of them, a black pine and an oak, are counted among the “remarkable trees” of Luxembourg and are approximately 175 years old. In the park there are three separate buildings: the 'Haus Marie Consolatrice', a retirement home, the 'Haus Nico Kremer', a home for disabled people and the Chalet Ginkgo, which has hosted youth groups since 1980. At the southern end of the park is the cemetery of the Sisters of Christian Doctrine of Nancy.
The communities of Steinsel and Walferdange have a variety of restaurants, supermarkets and stores, as well as doctors' offices and pharmacies. The 'Walfer Shopping Centre' contains various clothing stores and a large supermarket.
The new Lorentzweiler inspection station for vehicle technical inspections is only 5 minutes away by car. PIDAL, the wellness center of the municipalities of Steinsel, Walferdingen and Lorentzweiler, is 1.4 km away and has a large swimming pool, sauna area, fitness area, wellness offers and a restaurant.

CONSTRUCTION

SCHOOLS
The Heisdorf school sites are 500 m from the residence. This is the 'Robert Krieps' primary school, which teaches cycle 1. Cycles 2 - 4 are offered 1.9 km away in Steinsel in the 'Prince Guillaume' school site.
