SURROUNDINGS

Located west of the capital of the Grand Duchy, Bertrange enjoys a prime location very close to all neighborhoods of Luxembourg City. There are several restaurants, a few shops, a bakery, a butcher shop, the municipal administration, the new “shared space,” and the post office.

Bertrange Park offers a small green oasis. The various school buildings, from preschool through Cycle 4, are all located approximately 1 km away.

The “Atert” Cultural and Sports Center in Bertrange provides approximately 1,500 m² of playing fields and stands for 1,500 spectators. The multi-purpose sports hall is designed for basketball, handball, and volleyball, and includes a weight room. The large foyer and the new entrance provide access to an outdoor terrace and a banquet hall.

The “La Belle Etoile” and “City Concorde” shopping centers are a 2-minute drive away. The “Les Thermes” aquatic center in Strassen, which features a large wellness area, is just 5 minutes away. Via Merl, Luxembourg City is only 15 minutes away. Taking the A6, A4, and A13 highways, Esch-sur-Alzette is accessible in 20 minutes.

The “Tour DICI” is a 38-km loop offering a recreational route for cyclists of all ages.

TRANSPORTATION

The “Millewee” bus stop is located approximately 100 m from the housing development and is served by Line 8 heading toward Strassen and Limpertsberg.

The “Bus Bartreng” departs every hour between 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. and runs between Bertrange Station and points of interest such as Les Thermes, Belle Etoile, City Concorde, etc.

Three “vel'OH” stations are available for renting bikes for short trips, and the municipality of Bertrange also provides electric bikes (e-bikes).

The municipalities of Strassen and Bertrange offer a free Late-Night Bus service every Friday and Saturday departing from Kirchberg, connecting the Kirchberg district, the Aldringen Center in town, the Hollerich district, and Bertrange.

In the center of Bertrange, there is an elementary school (grades 1–4) as well as a preschool.
