With its stone facade and wooden balconies, it looks like a typical Alpine chalet. But as you walk through the door, you enter a dazzling universe reminiscent of an American diner, complete with jukebox, vintage Coca-Cola dispenser and intense colors. An old Route 66 fuel pump is displayed as an art object, while Volkswagen vans and colorful Jeeps serve as billiards or beds. All around are references to the sixties’ icons: pop art pictures of rock stars, floor graffiti in Jackson Pollock's style, Jim Morrison's fluorescent portrait on the pool wall, the large orange Marshall speaker and the blue electric drums.
In summer, ascend the Grande Motte Glacier, to ski under the sun and enjoy the panoramic view of the Alps. In winter, go to Lake Tignes for a daring attempt at ice diving. After a day riding down the slopes, relax in Chalet Marvin’s outdoor Jacuzzi, which looks out on the pine forests and snow-capped peaks.
